Why are we manufacturers of laminated veneer lumber?
- Glulam has unique properties, such as high strength, dimensional stability and reliability, which make it an ideal material for the construction of durable and beautiful houses.
- Excellent thermal insulation of laminated wood provides significant savings on heating and air conditioning costs.
- Aesthetic appeal and a variety of architectural solutions make laminated veneer lumber the preferred choice for those who appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of their home.
Improving respiratory health in wooden houses
According to a survey conducted in Ukraine in 2020 among 200 families, it was observed that residents living in wooden houses were significantly less likely to suffer from respiratory diseases compared to those living in houses made of stone or brick.
Main results:
- Out of 100 families living in wooden buildings, the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory infections is 80% lower.
- Wooden houses also contribute to the creation of a healthy microbial environment thanks to phytoncides - biologically active substances that trees release into the air, which have antibacterial properties that help disinfect the air.
These findings are supported by international research that points to the benefits of wood's natural properties, including its ability to regulate moisture and provide a healthier microbial environment, which can contribute to improved indoor air quality and, as a result, better respiratory health.
Living in wooden houses not only follows an environmentally friendly and sustainable approach, but can also contribute significantly to the well-being and respiratory health of the residents, including through the effect of phytoncides.
Energy efficiency up to 60 percent A++
A wooden house in itself requires 30-40 percent less energy consumption for heating than a house made of stone, bricks or blocks.
Thanks to energy-efficient windows with Energy Star certification, we have reduced heating costs by 12 percent
Due to the correct assembly of the house and the correct interconnection of the house in the corners and in the places where windows are installed, we reduced the energy loss by 10-15 percent.
Why laminated timber?
Our tests have shown that the best wooden building material is laminated veneer lumber. it is not subject to shrinkage, a large number of cracks and deformations due to the fact that in the production of laminated veneer lumber only well-dried boards with a moisture content of no more than 4-5 percent are used.
Glulam is three or more dried, processed boards glued together and placed under a press. after which a groove and tenon is made in each of the beams for a successful vertical connection.
Production of corner joints in glulam
The corner is a particularly cold place in the house, our technologists constantly check the correct production of corner joints in houses to minimize heat loss in the corners;
Thanks to the warm corner, the house is assembled like a Lego set
